Trump: 'Great thing' Brits have 'taken back their country'

Donald Trump has said it is a "great thing" that the people of the UK have "taken back their country" in voting to leave the EU.

When asked his opinion on David Cameron announcing he is to step down, Trump said: "Well, that's too bad."

The US Presidential hopeful made the comments as he touched down at his Trump Turnberry golf resort in Scotland.

Trump had publicly backed a Brexit in the run up to Thursday's referendum.
