Man United target Ibrahimovic Close To Decision
Zlatan Ibrahimovic claims he will make a decision in the coming days - and N'Golo Kante is interesting United
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said he will make an announcement on his next move “soon”.
The Swede is expected to join Manchester United , with former Reds captain Roy Keanesuggesting his arrival could have a similar galvanising effect as Eric Cantona 's in 1992.
The 34-year-old Swede is a free agent having left Paris Saint-Germain this summer, with United in pole position to sign him.
He says there is nothing to report just yet – but insists something will emerge in the near future.
He said: "For me, with Manchester [United], there is nothing to say. I feel happy for the moment.
"What the future will be, you will know soon. But I enjoy football. Wherever I go I will be the same person and I will enjoy."
Meanwhile, according to the Mirror , Jose Mourinho is lining up a move for Leicester City's dynamic midfielder N'Golo Kante.
A fee of £22 million is reported – but United will have to fend off interest from a host of top European clubs for the Frenchman, including PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Leicester, though, want to keep Kante, with the Premier League champions set to hand him a new £100,000-a-week deal.
And finally, United's move for Paul Pogba could be set to run into difficulties.
Real Madrid reportedly want the Juventus midfielder and are preparing an eye-watering bid of up to £94 million plus Toni Kroos to land him.
