Manchester City have been linked with a sensational double swoop for Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Jack Wilshere.
Incoming manager Pep Guardiola is said to be keen to build his midfield around England star Wilshere and also admires Sanchez.
The Sunday Mirror writes that City are considering a £40m bid for Wilshere, whose progress at the Gunners has been hampered by injuries.
Sanchez, 27, has a uncertain future in north London as he is yet to agree a new deal. Guardiola signed him for Barcelona in 2011 and, according to reports, would welcome him in Manchester.
The same report also states that Spurs full-back Danny Rose is viewed by Guardiola as the ideal replacement for Aleksandar Kolarov.
And The Mirror reports that Guardiola has told City he wants Real Madrid right-back Dani Carvajal at The Etihad.
The 24-year-old would cost in the region of £45million and it is understood that Bayern Munich are also interested in him.
Pablo Zabaleta is wanted by Roma and could leave for Italy this summer, according to the Mail.
The 31-year-old Argentina defender is expected to miss the Copa America in order to have ankle surgery and has found first-team opportunities restricted at City this season.
