Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger receives £3.5million windfall from liquidated sports company

The Gunners boss has been benefiting from a company which went under in 2014, adding further wealth to his estimated £40million Fortune.

Wenger has been receiving cash from a liquidated company

Arsene Wenger has cashed in for £3.5million after his sports company shut down.
The Arsenal boss is believed to have been receiving payments from LA Promotions LTD since the company went into voluntary liquidation in December 2014.
Accounts reveal that Wenger took home in excess of £2million from the company, according to The Sun on Sunday.
It is unclear what the firm actually does, but it was listed at Companies House as working in "other sports activities".
They are now registered as "Out of Business".

Wenger thanked Arsenal fans for their support at the end of the season

However, a couple of million pounds is somewhat a drop in the ocean for wealthy Wenger, who has an estimated personal fortune of around £40million.
The Frenchman's annual salary is £8.3million at Arsenal but his deal ends next summer.
Wenger is living in a £5.6million mansion in the exclusive north London area of Totteridge.

But with unrest in the stands, some believe that Wenger will not renew his contract at the Emirates, calling time on what would be a 21-year stint at the club.
A handful of fans have been protesting for Wenger's departure, believing that he will be unable to recover the Gunners' glory days.
